Japanese Pokémon - Pretend Team Skull Pikachu Special Collection Box [2016 Pokémon Center Japan Exclusive]

A Pokémon Center merchandise campaign began on December 17, 2016 that saw the release of many items featuring Pikachu wearing the uniforms of grunts from the various villainous teams in the core series video games.

Special Box: The Pretend Grunt Pikachu Special Box (Japanese: スペシャルBOX　団員ごっこピカチュウ) is decorated with the various Pikachu used in the campaign and comes packaged with 2 exclusive promotional cards, a set of 64 card sleeves, a deck case, 3 Collection Sun booster packs, and 3 Collection Moon booster packs. The box itself can be used to store cards.

These ultra-rare Pikachu promos feature Pikachu dressed as a Team Skull grunt & other evil agents from the Pokémon Sun & Moon series. Part of the exclusive Pretend Grunt Pikachu Special Box, these cards were never released in English and have become some of the most desirable Pikachu-themed promos ever printed.
